Tidbits As The Final 10 Days Of The Regular Season Approaches
|
From the Bullets-Wolves post-game summary in the Washington Post, sports writer J.A. Adande writes about a new child for former Bullet Tom Gugliotta. For those of you who still like Googs (count me as one of them):
"Former Bullet Tom Gugliotta and his wife, Nikki, had a baby girl named Cameron on March 20. And no, Gugliotta has not missed much sleep lately.Congratulations to Googs and his family."Nikki 'gets to take the duty on that until the end of the season,' Gugliotta said. 'I'm on the 7 p.m. to 12:30 shift, then she takes over. ..."
If you have access to Real Audio, you can listen to a NBA's weekly press conference, this time involving Chris Webber. The press conference was arranged by NBA.com and lasts for about 20 minutes.
There weren't many big news-generating questions, but he does address a lot of issues, including Rod Strickland, playing with Juwan, what will it take to get more competitive, and the effect of Bernie Bickerstaff as the new coach.
Earlier in the week, Juwan Howard went online at NBA.com and answered questions online in a chat session. These are questions from the fans, and they are definitely fun to read, and you learn a little more about Juwan in the process.
The Bullets are definitely an aching bunch right now, but they have a job ahead of them if they are to make the playoffs. J.A. Adande of the Washington Post talks about what the Bullets face as they go down the stretch for their final 6 games.
