What Do You Think Of A Scalper-Free Zone At The MCI Center?

Here's an intriguing concept: establish a scalper-free zone at the MCI Center, to allow people to unload tickets to deserving fans at face value. That's the proposal of Washington Post columnist Bob Levy.

He bases his proposal on what is already being done by the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. The scalper-free zone would be run by team employees. Tickets are only sold at face value.

And this would definitely be different than the experience that you used to get going to Washington Redskins games at RFK. There, it's like running the gauntlet of all of the scalpers.

I've never experienced the scalper-free zone at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Has anyone ever taken advantage of this? But it sounds like something that could definitely have a future at MCI Center.
